Why is it that people take the trouble of going through plastic surgeries? Regardless of who you are or what level of society you belong to, there is always an inherent urge in humans to look a bit different from how they were born. In the olden days, people simply lived with what they had as there was nothing could be done about it. This is no longer the case. Giant strides in plastic and cosmetic surgeries have ensured that anyone can correct their imperfections and look how they want.
This trait is particularly evident in celebrities and famous personalities who go under the knife to look their best in front of the cameras and flashlights. It is also a method much uses to increase their self-esteem and confidence, which before TVs largely depend on how people felt about the looks. There is no doubt that poise and self-assurance are intricately linked with the psyche of how people appreciate their looks. One person who has gone through multiple plastic surgeries to get the look of her choice and is not afraid or ashamed to admit it is Big Bang star, Kaley Cuoco.
To start with, it is interesting to hear from the star herself about her multiple surgeries. In the December 2016 issue of Women’s Health which featured her on its cover, she is very frank about it.
“Years ago, I had my nose done. And my boobs — best thing I ever did,” Cuoco, 30, says. “Recently I had filler in a line in my neck I’ve had since I was 12.”
“As much as you want to love your inner self … I’m sorry, you also want to look good. I don’t think you should do it for a man or anyone else, but if it makes you feel confident, that’s amazing.”
However, while many people drool over her fantastic figure, regardless how it was accentuated, she has said on numerous occasions that the toned and Greek Goddess-like body is the result of hard work, exercises and her love for outdoor sports. Her perfect abs were not created on a surgeon’s table, and neither has her perfect tummy. It is the result of yoga and what she calls “eating half”. For example, she orders a sandwich and eats half of it. That then is the depth of sacrifice and abstinence to maintain what critics say is the “perfect body”.
When celebrities like Cuoco are outspoken about the extent that they go to have a perfect look, it sends a strong signal to the common people that there is no stigma attached in trying to change their looks and be beautiful. There are not many that will go to the extent of plastic surgeries but will do it their own way. Simply pampering yourself with a skin rejuvenation treatment on a microdermabrasion machine goes a long way to enhancing skin texture and shine, very important as a step to be desirable.
While not for everyone if you want to look your best, try tweaking a little of your features through rejuvenation machines before attempting more dramatic surgery.
